چکیده
Plant root development and architecture are experiencing a period of increased interest due to climate change increasing drought stress pressure. It is known that has 3-dimensional complex developmental system, just like above-ground organs. Determination abiotic factors affecting in forage legume species essential for developing stress-tolerant cultivars sustainable agricultural production. In this study, it was aimed investigate the effect 0- 300 mM salt (NaCl) doses on early development, architecture, endosperm usage ratios two different common grasspea (Lathyrus sativus L.) with basic differences. As result study performed modified cigar-roll technique, observed general, 100 150 above inhibit growth. The number length roots affected parallel each other. genotypic differences between measured parameters related were also reflected results. Different had levels tolerance, total affect inhibition. encountered seedling stage, seed ratio decreased up 4-fold. been evaluation tolerance at stage may shed light germination speed, maybe important earliness.

Genetic diversity among induced mutants of grasspea (Lathyrus sativus L.)
Introduction Knowledge about genetic diversity is a prerequisite of any breeding programme. Inclusion of diverse parents in hybridisation programmes serves the purpose of combining desirable genes in new recombinations. Mahalanobi’s D statistic (7) is a powerful tool in quantifying the degree of divergence at genotypic level. Several workers have used this method to quantify the degree of diver...

Callus cultures from root explants of Lathyrus sativus L. ‘Derek’ were tested for their morphogenic capacity. Primary explants (fragments of roots) were cultivated on three induction media. We obtained three lines of callus tissue among which we identified two non-embryogenic lines and one embryogenic line. Callus originally cultivated on modified MS medium supplemented with 0.05 mgL picloram, ...

Introduction Grasspea (Lathyrus sativus L.) is produced as major crop in Bangladesh, China, India and Pakistan, and to a lesser extent in many countries of Europe, the Middle East, northern Africa, as well as in South America. It is extensively cultivated and naturalised in the Middle East countries of Iraq, Iran, Afghanistan, Syria and Lebanon and in Ethiopia, Egypt, Morocco, Algeria and Libya...

Introduction Grass pea (Lathyrus sativus L.) is one of the most important species of the Lathyrus genus. It has two subspecies : spp. asiaticus Zalk., which has small, coloured seeds, occurring mainly in the continental part of Asia and Africa and spp. europaeus Zalk. with large seeds, occurring predominantly in Central Europe and European Russia. According to Vavilov (8) its genetic centre is ...
متن کاملAn RNA Sequencing Transcriptome Analysis of Grasspea (Lathyrus sativus L.) and Development of SSR and KASP Markers
Grasspea (Lathyrus sativus L., 2n = 14) has great agronomic potential because of its ability to survive under extreme conditions, such as drought and flood. However, this legume is less investigated because of its sparse genomic resources and very slow breeding process. In this study, 570 million quality-filtered and trimmed cDNA sequence reads with total length of over 82 billion bp were obtai...
